Another update on the raptor

well for the seam line at the bottom of the wing seem like i have no choice but to cover it up ... from real plane reference there isn't any lines ... so no excuse as trying to make it as panel line  :P

enuf chatting and enjoy the pic …

remove the flesh line at the inner side air intake

 

cover up the seam line and hole .... then sand and re scribble back the panel line

 

prime the whole thing

 

test fitting the side missile hatch

 

insert a brass rod to the missile and connect it launching arm

 

current overall

 

for the smoke effect im still not sure weather to use cotton or bondite ( epoxy putty )… maybe i’ll do both then compare XD …

Kururu Robo ( speed version )

Finally got the pic of the kururu robo which finish at 2nd day of CF 2008… use about 5 hours from box till finish… nothing fancy just a pure OOB ( out of box ) build …

Comic Fiesta 2008 day 2

was happy and sad at the same time for the second day of CF 2008, happy part broke 2 personal record XD :

• finish a kit from box to flat coat with in fastest time less then half a day
• no break in the middle of the WIP ^^”…

for the sad part ^^” :

• inhale the most thinner fume for in my modeling life, without any mask respirator ( very stupid of me )
• didn’t take any main even pic  for CF 2008 T_T in that day … ( major sad ing )

well didn’t take any pic of the CF even and any WIP of the demo because time was very rush … when the time finish the kit it was almost 6 pm ^^”, but dun worry the wip and finish kit pic was take by some one now its just wait them to post it out XD…

during the demo the kit which was given to build is kururu robo

 

major pain in the ass was the seam line at the robo arm and joints, have to do some parts separation and cover seam line …

 

after the demo was finish done a flash dash in to the even hall XD … but it was almost at the ending T_T … but still manage to get some pic of the cosplayer grouping at the main stage …

Comic Fiesta 2008 day 1

One of the biggest doujinshi and cosplay even in Malaysia every year which was held at Sunway Pyramid convention center hall today. Was ask by a friend to do a model demo with other model kaki at their booth, but lucky today was not my shift XD so able to lepak at the even whole day.

this year even was definably bigger then last year CF which held in BTS ( berjaya time square ) not to mention a lot more spacious ^^”…

( middle ) becky ( her right side ) DYLH ( behind her ) tkting and his GF … hmmm… somewhere in the middle of the 2 above XD…

3 of them is doing chibi keroro …. used like 4 hours + to finish from box to completion …. bravo girls & guys XD

out side also so many ppl liao i’ll let u guys imagine how crowded  inside the hall even is … since i dun have any pic to show inside ^^” …

after stayed a while lepak with the model kaki i decide to went in the even hall look for some of my friend which selling stuff at their booth inside …

( the 1 holding 2 books ) chris … manage to find them inside … selling their art work compellation  “ gift prologue “ damm this guys is really getting better and better … >< b

since their r launching their books at 2 places major man power shortage … ^^” poor fellas … so decide to help them out abit ( 1st time going in to the inner booth section XD ) … while selling the books manage to take a pic of a cosplay group …

stay until 6:45pm then went back …

tomorrow will be back there again and my turn and another 2 fellas to do the demo but will be doing kururu robo … not so sure can finish in 4 hours or  not ^^” …

Trumpeter 1/144 F-22A Raptor wip no.02

seem like finish it in 1 week is impossible to me dual to cousin staying over my place and water leakage in my room .... but still thank god those already over and able to back in action liao  :D

anyway here here is the latest update ...

painted the inner canopy with gold for the tinting effect

painted the engine with burn iron

as the pic above show i notice there is some gap at the end of the wing ( sorry dunno whats the name of that part ) and non at the kit so i added my self ... and this is what u get ....

just remove some minor piece at the panel line area

next cement the top and bottom part togather

the still have to cover up some gap at the bottom of the plane ... but that will be the next up date ...

Trumpeter 1/144 F-22A Raptor wip no.01

XD ... this will be my 1st W.I.P work log in this blog, but surprisingly it's not a mecha kit but a plane kit .... yes a 1/144 Raptor from Trumpeter .....
just got this kit from a friend yesterday night form miniature hobby .... very cheap also price also rm 17 XD ...
well planning to do a dynamic scene which is firing a missile while flying, wont be touching the cockpit will try to paint the canopy in gold as tinting canopy ... lazy man way... hehehe

well i have no experience in doing planes so im just gonna use gunpla knowledge in this work :D

basic fitting and work for now done

since im doing a scene so wont be using the landing gear so no need for the just single side is open for firing missle ..... btw sanded the bottom surface flat as show in the read plane and re scribble the panel line

here is how the scene gonna be like ......

well should be able to finish it by this week ..... next is abing the canopy and engine then start priming ...

Gundam MK2 group build

Zero-G is gonna start a GB ( group build ) soon for GUNDAM RX-178 MK2... and yes, i'll be joining this GB will be using HGUC Gundam MK2 + Flying Armor .... well hope final result really can see all 16 MK2 la ^^" ...

will start posting the working in progress soon ... acctually i've already start the work :P ....

29 November 2008 dinner

Since 2 or 3 years back me and my family tend to have spaghetti once or twice in a month ( of cause which I'll be the only one cooking it ^^" ) .....

so today's menu " spaghetti with home made tomato sauce and a piece of sweet & spicy pork chop "

ya i know .... bad photo quality .... my digital cam was out of batery at that time so using my old L7 HP to take the picture XD
